India is one of the fastest and robust emerging economy of the world with billions of hope and aspirations. Amidst a surging present and bright future, India also faces multiple crisis that are located in domains of energy, environment, health, agriculture, and technology, which may range from huge energy deficit to worsening water woes and rising air pollution affecting millions of lives. For ensuring prosperity and happiness, it is essential that natural resources should be harnessed with careful look on future along with adoption of sustainable means to ensure that the fruits of development reach to all in a just manner.

As part of a climate-sensitive growth strategy and human development at its core belief, CEED engages with global processes to find cost-effective and climate-friendly solutions for India and developing states. The mission and visions of CEED are adequately informed and inspired through the global agreements in the form of UNFCCC led COP negotiations and international protocols, Paris accord, nationally determined contributions; and it strongly believes in solutions and programmatic interventions must be based on just and socially responsible manner.

CEED believes that any issue needs to be seen in holistic manner and it cannot be dealt in silos. Hence, it brings together all the concerned stakeholders including the state agencies, think-tanks, industrial bodies and community on a common forum to work in collaboration for effective solution.
