The Just Transition programme has been running in parallel with the fundamentals of the carbon neutral pathway and is guided by the Net-zero emission target (2070) set by the Government of India.
In order to mainstream the narrative of just transition in the public discourse, CEED has established a Just Transition Resource Centre (JTRC) with a vision of facilitating a forward looking economy that essentially puts justice, sustainability and a low carbon future at the centre-stage with providing robust livelihood opportunities for the affected communities.
