Centre for Environment and Energy Development (CEED) and Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) collaborated to organize a two-day conference on ‘Converging best practices and collaborating efforts towards clean air’ on March 27 and 28, 2023.

On the first day, the officials of the major government agencies like Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC), Jamshedpur Municipal Corporation, and Dhanbad Municipal Corporation discussed the progress of implementation of the ‘Clean Air Action Plan’ prepared under the National Clean Air Program for these three cities and informed about the best practices and success stories.

On the second day, in addition to the technical session related to the air quality of the conference, quiz, skit, and speech competitions were organized on various themes of mission life for college students and youths.

Objectives of the Workshop

To enhance mutual cooperation for appropriate solutions to environmental and developmental challenges like air pollution.
To strengthen collective efforts for clean air quality in the state.
