Varsha Goswami has progressive experience in a wide range of atmospheric sciences involving air quality monitoring and forecasting, climate modelling, water quality analysis, increasing air pollution impact on health and environment using various tools and techniques. She is also conducting research studies which are both qualitative and quantitative. She has also been involved in satellite data analysis for air pollutants and their correlation with meteorological parameters.

She has completed her masters in Environmental Science from Central University of South Bihar. During her master’s program, she worked on the annual and seasonal aerosol trend over the Indo-Gangetic Plains (IGP) and its linkage with meteorology. Also, she has worked on long term climatic data analysis in earth system science. The provided position as Research Associate at CEED, capacitate her to utilize her research experience to
contribute towards the solution driven scientific exercises to the environmental problems and in policy-making process. She is fond of travelling, music and playing badminton.
