Brief info
Saurav Acharya is currently working as an Energy modelling enthusiast, with a focus on renewable energy transitions. He completed his MTech in Energy Technology from Tezpur University, with his final-year project conducted at IIT Bombay. His research there involved renewable energy transition
of the power sector within regions in India. Prior to that, he earned his MSc in Physics from Dibrugarh University and pursued a PG Diploma in Space and Atmospheric Science from the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad under the UN-sponsored CSSTEAP program, where he worked on the study of global dust storms on Mars across twelve Martian years.
Apart from work, Saurav enjoys traveling to new places and trying different cuisines. He is an avid reader of fiction and non-fiction novels, enjoys binge-watching web series, and writes short stories in his leisure time. A sports enthusiast, he loves playing badminton and table tennis, and also is a paw lover.
