Richa Suman is a development sector professional with nearly a decade of experience in strategic communication, programme management, stakeholder engagement, government engagement and knowledge management. Her work focuses on bringing together communication, programme strategy and stakeholder engagement to support effective implementation and wider impact.
Her professional journey spans climate action, energy transition, sustainable livelihoods, education and Early Childhood Development (ECD). She has worked closely with government departments, development organisations, industry, academia and civil society, supporting programme planning and implementation, capacity building, communication initiatives and knowledge development. Her experience also includes developing communication strategies, training resources, reports, case studies and advocacy materials, as well as facilitating multi-stakeholder consultations and institutional engagements.
At the Centre for Environment and Energy Development (CEED), Richa serves as Manager – Outreach & Communication Engagement, leading outreach and communication initiatives in Chhattisgarh while supporting engagement across CEED’s wider geographies. Her role also involves strengthening institutional partnerships, contributing to CSR strategy and business development, and building strategic narratives around climate action and energy transition.
Richa brings a strong interest in connecting evidence, policy and communication to create informed dialogue and meaningful action. Outside work, she enjoys travelling, exploring new places and cultures, cooking, and reading.
