Nirupama has a Bachelors in Geography from the University of Calcutta and holds a gold medal in Masters in Environment and Disaster Management from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute.

Her academic journey has instilled a deep understanding of environment sustainability, carbon sequestration and carbon neutrality, disaster management and climate change. She also has interest in GIS and remote sensing and its further application which can drive impactful initiatives and contribute to CEED's mission and goals.

Beyond her professional commitments, Nirupama spends her time by for reading books, multi-cuisine cooking and solo travelling.
