Atiya has a Bachelors in Architecture from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, and pursued a Masters in Environmental Planning and Management at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada.

During her academic journey, she worked on Projects like the Environmental Development Plan of Alappuzha, Kerala 2041; Regional Environmental and Development Plan of South Goa 2041; Site Area Plan of Somalwada, Nagpur; Local Area Plan of Ennore, Chennai; Water Quality Analysis of Kesarapalli Cheruvu Lake, Andhra Pradesh.

Moreover, Atiya gained valuable insights during a two-month internship at Ranchi Smart City Corporation Limited, enriching her knowledge about the Smart City Mission. Beyond academics, her hobbies include photography, travelling, and listening to Music.
