Educational Qualification:

Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant certifications or training in social media management preferred.

Experience: 
  • Proven 5-6 years of experience in social media management, with a track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns across multiple platforms.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage audiences effectively.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms to schedule posts, monitor performance, and track KPIs.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to generate innovative ideas and adapt to evolving trends and audience preferences.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand consistency and quality standards across all social media channels.

Purpose of role:

The Social Media Manager’s role is to effectively manage and leverage social media platforms to enhance brand visibility, engage with target audiences, and drive objectives such as increasing brand awareness, generating leads, and fostering brand image and loyalty. The aim is to create meaningful connections with followers, cultivate brand identity, and contribute to overall marketing and communication strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across various platforms.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to target audiences and aligned with brand voice and objectives.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and manage online communities to foster positive interactions and address customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify trends, and optimize content and campaigns for maximum reach and impact.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices to inform strategy development and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and customer service, to integrate social media efforts into overall marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, ad creative development, and performance tracking, to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers and brand advocates to amplify reach and enhance brand credibility through partnerships and collaborations.
Stakeholders Management:

The candidate should make active communication with Government Agencies, Local bodies, Industrial Partners, Academic and Research Institutions, National and International Funders and Donors, International Organisations, Local Businesses, and other NGOs/ INGOs.

Salary:

Salary is negotiable and at par with the industry.
