Program and Position Overview:

CEED is looking for an empathetic and proactive Associate – HR who will support the organization in strengthening its people-first culture. The role involves managing HR processes, assisting in recruitment, ensuring smooth employee engagement, and fostering a supportive work environment where changemakers can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in end-to-end recruitment: drafting JDs, shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires.
    • Maintain and update HR records, employee files, and HRMS.
    • Support performance appraisal cycles and employee feedback mechanisms.
    • Coordinate induction, training, and capacity-building sessions.
    • Assist in designing and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and labor regulations.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries and employee support.
    • Collaborate with the HR team to strengthen CEED’s inclusive and people-driven culture.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  2. 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in development/NGO or mission-driven organizations.
  3. Good knowledge of HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with empathy.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office; HRMS knowledge is a plus.
  7. Passion for building strong teams and enabling a positive workplace culture.
Salary:
  • Salary is negotiable and at par with the industry.
