CEED believes that It is high time to shift development pathways towards more climate resilient measures. Over the years, CEED has worked in multiple domains and themes such as state-of-the-art research, knowledge dissemination, capacity building, and advocacy across the IGP to accelerate climate actions.
Key Focus
CEED plays a crucial role in addressing existing gaps by conducting niche research to lead an informed discussion and provide support to the government departments and agencies on capacity building on thematic issues.
CEED provides knowledge and technical support to the Government agencies/board (like it does in Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh) to prepare the District Action Plan on Climate Change (DAP-CC) and Panchayat level action plans.
CEED has been quite instrumental in facilitating the idea of citizen science to broaden the understanding of climate change related discussion in society
CEED also promotes simplifying the data and science in accessible languages and forms to a range of stakeholders for enabling them take part in solution process
