CEED’s Climate Change programme focuses on facilitating robust strategies for
adaptation and mitigation into decision-making processes across multiple
economic sectors and provides solution-driven state-of-the-art core and applied
scientific research, networking and communication services to multiple
stakeholders in the Indo-Gangetic Plain (IGP) and Central Highland regions.

Understanding the interaction of climate change and the socio-economic system at a localized scale aiming towards the promotion of technologies and practices for reducing impacts.
Vulnerability assessment of climate impacts in resource-rich regions of IGP with special emphasis on agroforestry, natural resource management and livelihood practices.
Understanding the dimension of climate change by investigating the alterations in regional ecosystems, biodiversity, land-use patterns and environmental compositions.
