Jharkhand has witnessed an exemplary growth trajectory in recent years and it is rightly regarded as one of the promising states that can immensely contribute in the national growth. Considering the state is predominantly an agro based economy despite being known as an industrialized state in India, the energy demand in key sectors of the economy is likely to increase manifold in future. As important preconditions of development, intertwined role of energy and agriculture is inevitable to monitor growth trajectory in a state where almost 80 percent of the population is dependent on agriculture and allied activities for livelihood.....
